process with customer's material, assembly with customer's parts process

BMMUMC's precursor is Beijing Auto Work, a state-owned
enterprise taking investment of motor manufacture and its supplies
and export as main business. It has total asset of 1.585billion yuan,
total debt of 813billion yuan, net asset of 772million yuan, ratio
of debt to asset is 51.3%. BMMUMC is holding company of Beijing Jeep
Co., Ltd., Beijing Foton Vehicle Co., Ltd., a shareholder of Beijing
Auto Work Co., Ltd., invested 595 million yuan in total. Motor supplies
manufacturing enterprises under BMMUMC main manufacture radiators,
starting engines, and others, not only meet demand in the domestic
market, but also export 80% of these products to United States, Japan,
and other countries, are well known and enjoy reputation in the international
market.

Now BMMUMC has 1151 employees, of them, 189 engineering
technical personnel (24 have their senior professional titles, 57
middle, and 42 junior); 292 managerial staff; 30 service staff, and

production and living areas, has complete water, power, and steam
supply and other facilities, all pipelines are in a good condition. |

In 2003, 13 thousand radiators were manufactured, of
them 100 thousand pieces were exported to United States, with a value
of sales of 65.58million yuan; total value of import and export business
was 67.44million yuan, with an export value of 8.41million USD. |

In addition to investment outward, this enterprise's
main products are radiators and starting engines for motor, the former
has a production capacity of 300 thousand pieces, the latter has 100
thousand pieces, and they has strong competitive power in the international
market thanks to their excellent quality and lower prices. Motor supplies
manufacturing enterprises taking radiators and starting engines as
dominant products have formed an exported product base. |
