Outline of enterprise

Founded in 1976, the company is a hi-tech enterprise and one of key research institute of Beijing Committee of Science.

8 test labs for cars, engines, assemblies and parts, automobile emission, engine emission, fuel evaporation, measurement and physical and chemical analysis have been established to serve auto industry and society.

The sub units of the Lab Center, the Beijing Auto Quality Supervision Inspection, Testing and Verification Lab and the Beijing Auto Quality Supervision Inspection & Testing Station are organs recognized by the department-in-charge or by certification institutions and they undertake the work to appraise, quality inspect and test of new products of automobiles as well as the inspection and testing of automobile product quality for arbitration reason.

110 employees, including 78 technical personnel (1 senior engineer of professor level, 23 senior engineers, 21 persons with technical title of mid class and 33 persons wit technical title of junior class), 9 technicians and 23 workers.

Infrastructure

The Institute, locating at the place 400m from the Fangzhuan Crossroad in north, has a space area of 15720 m2 and a construction area of 18000 m2. It has fixed assets of RMB 32 million yuan and complete facilities for water, power and fuel supply.

Operation performance

Total income in 2003 was RMB 15.3 million yuan, including RMB 0.78 million yuan from technical service and RMB 0.75 million yuan for sales of hi-tech products and RMB 2 million yuan of profit and tax.

Main products and their market competitive power

Main products include crank box forced ventilation unit, ERG valves and diesel engine electric EGR valve units, fuel evaporation units, temperature controlled switches, VTV valves, catalyst converters, ABS, exhaust brakes and vehicle transmitters, among them, the crank box forced ventilation unit, ERG valves and ABS are at leading position in same industry.
