Approved by Beijing Municipal Government, Beijing Optical
Apparatus-Machinery-Electric Appliance Integrating Industry
Base (BOAEAIB) located in the southeast of Beijing was
established on Jul. 23 2001. Main direction of the base
planed to cover an area of 7.5sq.km is to develop numerically
controlled tools, microelectronics, automotive supplies,
and intelligent instrument as an oriented industries
of the base.
The base is situated between Wuhuan Road and Liuhuan
Road, adjoins Bejing-Shenyang Expressway in the east,
Beijing Economic and Technical Development Zone in the
south, and Beijing-Tianjin-Tanggu Expressway in the
west, 7km from Sanhuan Road of Beijing, about 40km from
Beijing Capital International Airport, may drive 140km
along Beijing-Tianjin-Tanggu Expressway to Tianjn New
Port, about 7km to the railway freight station. All
of these show there are convenient water, air and land
transportation facilities available.
BOAEAIB has perfect infrastructure.
Road: There is a complete and rationally distributed
road network.
Water supply: A centralized water supply system taking
city water to supply water for production and domestic
use.
Drainage: A high-standard rainwater and sewage separate
drainage system has been built, and a sewage treatment
plant with daily capacity of 10,000tons has been put
into running. The water after treatment is recovered
by an intermediate water system, which may supply intermediate
water of 4,000tons per day.
Power supply: There is an 110kV transformer station
with a capacity of 80kVA, which may provide two-circuit
power supply, in the base.
Heat supply: A centralized heat supply mode is adopted
in the base. A heat supply center with a capacity of
50tons/hr has been put into operation.
Fuel gas: Natural gas supply in the base comes from
North China Oil Field, Shaanxi, Gansu, and Ningxia regions,
and the Inlet Station that supplies Beijing natural
gas is in the base.
Communication: A 100thousand-line SPC exchange in planning
will be built in the base. Wideband network communication
service is available for the enterprises have entered
the base. Furthermore, a CTV system holding 44 sets
of programs has been opened.
A comprehensive office is set in the base, and it may
provide all-sided services including examination and
approval of a project, land planning, environmental
protection, procedures at the Administration for Industry
and Commerce and the Taxation Bureau for the enterprises.
Construction of the infrastructure in an area of 2.5sq.km
in the first stage of BOAEAIB has been completed, 16
enterprises including Korea Hyundai and BYD, that produce
auto spare parts, such as gear-boxes, dies, gears /shafts
for gear boxes, transmission shaft/universal joints,
with agreed investment amount of 8.383billion yuan,
of them foreign capital reaches 547million USD.
