Beijing Xinggu Industrial Development Zone

Beijing Xinggu Industrial Development Zone (BXIDZ) located in the north of Pinggu Town was established in Oct. 1992. The total plan area of the development zone is 5.03 km2 Now an industry pattern emphasizing automotive spare parts, Hyundai manufacturing business, food and beverage, biopharmacy, optical apparatus-machinery -electrical appliance integration has formed, and attracted 500 enterprises’ entrance.
BXIDZ is situated in the center of Beijing-Tianjin-Tanggu triangular area, 40km from Beijing Capital International Airport, 70km from Beijing downtown, and 110km from Tianjin New Port, showing convenient water, land, and air transportation. Datong-Qinhuangdao electric railway sets a freight station in Pinggu, cargo may be transferred to other places of the country. Beijing-Pinggu Expressway connects to the development zone. A custom office is set in the zone to deals with various import and export businesses. There are public bonded warehouses, and a mated commodity inspection office and complete foreign trade transportation facilities in the zone.
The development zone is equipped with complete various mated facilities.
Road: There is a well-distributed road network of 25km long in the development zone.
Water supply: The development zone has a circular water supply network with a water supply pipeline of 25 thousand meters, which supply capacity reaches 9,000tons, with a supply pressure of 0.4-0.6Mpa.
Drainage: There is a rainwater and sewage drainage system in the development zone, with an annual sewage treatment plant with a capacity of 8million tons.
Power supply: There are two 110kV transformer stations with a capacity of 200kVA, their outley voltages are 35kV, 10kV, and 0.4kV, respectively.
Heat supply: The development zone adopts centralized heat supply, with a capacity of 20tons/hr.
Fuel gas: There is a middle-pressure natural gas main pipeline of 50 thousand cub.m in the zone.
Communication: The development zone is equipped with a complete modern communication system, a 100thousand-line SPC exchange in the zone, and may provide Internet wideband switch-in service.
The development zone provides a good working circumstance for investors and their employees, builds a garden-like block by adding investment in public facilities, greening, brightening construction. An administration commission is set in the zone, it may provide efficient, normal, and zealous service in dealing with procedures at the Administration for Industry and Commerce and the Taxation Bureau, examination and approval of a project, land planning, capital construction for the enterprises to minimize operation cost of enterprises.
In August 2002,
BXIDZ is assigned by Beijing Municipal Government as one of Beijing Hyundai auto spare parts production bases, and offers lands of 200hec as the construction land of Korea Industrial Park in the planning, to provide spare parts for “Beijing Hyundai”. By now, more than 10 Korea enterprises have been attracted to set factories in the zone. In addition to these, Companies including Korea Dai Won Steel, Yu Sun, Dong Hui, Dong Yang, and Hwa Pyung-Seiko are preparing to invest in the zone.
