Beijing
is the focus of dispatch and supply of the North China power network and
the Beijing-Tianjing-Tanggu power network.
The power consumption of the whole society in Beijing reached
41.5 billion KWH in 2003. Beijing adopts the principle of combining the
reliance on Shanxi, Inner Mongolia and Hebei energy bases to transmit
electric power to Beijing and the appropriate construction of local power
plants to construct power plants and the power transmission network, and
has realized the networked operation of the 4 electric grids including
Beijing-Tianjing, Shijiazhuang-Handan, Shanxi and Hohhot-Baoyou grids.
In addition to power supply from Shanxi, Inner Mongolia and Hebei, the
power construction in Beijing region has formed a power pattern with thermal
power playing the leading role and hydraulic power playing a supporting
role, and the installed generation capacity of power plants has reached
5200MW.
Currently
a power supply network has taken shape which is supported by the North
China 500kV supervoltage transmission U-type ring network with the 220kV
double circuit ring network being the primary power supply network and
the 110kV single circuit ring network operating in open ring and stretching
in arborized form far into the city center inward and far to the power
supply network in exurban districts and counties outward. By 2005, a power
supply network will taken shape which centers on the 500kV supervoltage
transmission U-type ring network with the 220kV double circuit ring network
being the primary power supply network and the 110kV single circuit ring
network operating in open ring and stretching in radiating structure,
far into the city center inward and far to the power supply network in
exurban districts and counties outward.
By the end of 1999, there are a total of 186 substations at 110kV and
above, with a total installed capacity of 29424.6MVA. By 2005, the number
of substations at 110kV and above will reach 222-230, with a total installed
capacity of 44426MVA. See detail in the following table (Figure B?¡èV?09).
