Beijing is accelerating the development of modern logistics industry: Beijing is constructing logistic bases with the functions of inland port, freight collection and distribution port, process and distribution, commodity inspection and information service, such as the Fangshan Yancun-Fentai Wangzuo base at the south west, the Tongzhou Majuqiao base at the south east and the Shunyi Tianzhu base at the north east, which form a triangular ?°skeleton?±. Meanwhile, 17 logistic distribution areas will be constructed so as to vigorously develop the third party logistic enterprises to provide logistic platform for collection and distribution of the goods entering and exiting Beijing and for manufacturers and suppliers to conduct procurement and distribution in the periphery of Beijing, and to provide professional logistic facilities for end distribution services. A logistic system will be formed with large scale logistic base as the core and comprehensive and professional logistic distribution area as the tie-in points.

Beijing has a convenient custom management service system: Beijing Custom, Yizhuang Custom, Capital Airport Custom, Pinggu Custom, Chaoyang Shibalidian Custom along with auxiliary supporting service systems have constituted the network for custom clearance network, which in turn provides quality services for enterprises.

Beijing has a sound commodity inspection and quarantine management service system: The Beijing Bureau of Entry and Exit Inspection and Quarantine and its branches such as the Capital Airport Bureau of Entry and Exit Inspection and Quarantine, the Entry and Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone, Shunyi Bureau of Inspection and Quarantine, Chaoyang Inspection and Quarantine Office, etc, have shaped the complete commodity inspection and quarantine system, which in turn provides all-sided, fast and convenient inspection and quarantine services for enterprises.
